COVID-19 UPDATE: The following workshops are still scheduled, however they will only happen if the appropriate government bodies deem travel to be completely safe. Please join my mailing list below to stay up-to-date on the workshops.

I'm often adding new photo workshops and free teaching to my mailing list subscribers, so if you would like to stay informed on what I'm doing that can benefit your photography, please click the link directly below. I usually send out an update email once every two or three weeks.
About Mark Hemmings
Mark Hemmings is a professional travel and street photographer, and his photography portfolio can be viewed here. Mark began his career in the late 1990′s when working on feature films as a 'stills' and location photographer.

His work broadened to include international travel photography jobs which had him photographing in Asia and Eastern Europe. In 2000 Mark moved to Japan for a year to learn advertising photography, and that year proved pivotal in shaping his lighting style and how he approaches photography within the context of advertising.

In 2004 he developed his skills as a photography workshop instructor, teaching people how to create better photographs in such diverse places as Mexico, England, Japan, Korea, Hungary, and Romania/Transylvania. Mark’s current photo workshops and tours can be found on this page, and he hopes that you will join him on one of the trips. As a photography tour/workshop instructor, Mark’s desire is to impart technical and aesthetic knowledge to his participants, as well as offering a fun and dynamic international cultural experience.

Mark is also a professional architecture, food, editorial and travel photographer who is available for hire. Please contact him at
